The video and audio stem from different sources: the video is made of excerpt of footage of television documentaries showing the act of firing grenades from various types of weapons. The video is accompanied by audio recordings of sexual intercourse. Matching these two elements does not represent their synthesis, but rather a deconstruction of opposed sounds and images that produce something completely new - of what is destabilising in this work is the opposition between the two. The author uses this paradoxical mix to present orgasmic pleasure of the figures that initiate, command or perpetrate destruction of other people’s lives.
