engraved drawings on tombstones
«Monumental Fragmentation» is an installation comprising individual designs on marble. The patterns presented in the drawings were first photographed and then engraved to represent car fragments. This work is based on my experience of creating portraits (designs) on tombstones, which I did before I became an art student. In this particular case, the work is a visual memory of fragments in relation to the total object committed to memory.
